The Mac desktop client (version 0.9.5) is ready for its beta phase! After weeks of development and nights of integration efforts we are happy to announce that the desktop client will be shipped to pre-selected users today!
We even included a nice surprise for all of you, as the desktop client not only ships with support
of Polars SonicLink, but we also added support for Polars FlowLink. At the moment only FT80 and RS300x are supported. All other FlowLink models will be integrated during the next 2 weeks.
Furthermore the desktop client includes full bi-directional sync with the web application of Pulse-O-Meter.com.
If you want to be part of the beta phase for the desktop version, please send us an email including
your Pulse-O-Meter.com username to: mac@pulse-o-meter.com
It seems like an easy task, but it isn’t. Creating user-friendly statistics is really hard work.
After working for quite a while with our statistics module we decided to re-design them a few days ago. The reason was that the results where sometimes quite hard to explain to users. Even though the results where correct the representation of the data was sometimes confusing.
The next version of the statistics will be a lot easier to understand right away.
Pulse-O-Meter started as a small project to satisfy our own needs in terms of heart rate monitor data synchronization a few months ago.
Due to the enormous positive feedback we received from the sports community, we decided to scale up! So we are pretty happy to announce, that Pulse-O-Meter is hiring.
At first we want to give young and motivated people in the Cologne area the opportunity to hop on board and join us at these early stages. You can find the job openings (in german) here.
